Welcome to Centenary!

First-time worshiper? Or haven't been here for awhile?
Here are some frequently asked questions about Sundays at Centenary that we hope will make your first time with us a meaningful one.

Sunday

Mornings

Worship Service in Japanese - 9:15 a.m.

Worship Service in English – 11:00 a.m.

On most Sundays, our worship services in Japanese and English are done in traditional style. On the last Sunday of the month, we have a praise worship service for the English ministry. Holy Communion is offered on the first Sunday of each month and is open to all.

You are invited to the after worship fellowship in the Social Hall adjacent to the sanctuary. First-time worshipers, enjoy coffee and snacks and if lunch is served, free lunch on us!

Parking

We have free parking available for worshipers. Please don't hesitate to ask the parking lot attendant for help finding a good parking spot.

The entrance to the parking lot is on Central Avenue side.

WHAT TO EXPECT

You will find people ready to welcome you. If you arrive early, there is always fair trade coffee available in the fellowship hall.

Anything for the Children?

Children of all ages are welcome to worship in the sanctuary. We also have Church School available after the message time for the children. Our excellent Sunday school volunteers do their best to provide a safe, encouraging, and loving environment.

There is also a nursery for families with infants to use, which can be easily accessed from the sanctuary. Please ask one of the ushers if you would like to use the nursery during worship.
