Centenary's Joys and Concerns

On October 10, 2021, Rev. Ki and his family welcomed us back to Centenary for in-person worship, since the pandemic closed our doors on March 15, 2020. What a joyous occasion it was especially with the Los Angeles CicLAvia right outside our doors. Rev. Ki and his wife Caroline, along with their children Eli and Drew, pedaled their bicycles on the CicLAvia route from Little Tokyo, through Chinatown, Echo Park, and East L.A. getting to know our community.

Congratulations to Karen Tei Yamashita who received the lifetime achievement award from the National Book Foundation for distinguished contribution to American letters.
