Greetings Centenary United Methodist family and friends,
I’m happy to announce that Alan Miyatake of the renowned Toyo Miyatake Studio will be taking portraits for Centenary’s 125th Anniversary Commemorative Booklet. Everyone who has been a part of Centenary's 125 years of ministry is invited to have their family photo taken which will be in the commemorative booklet.
The booklet will feature articles of Centenary, “honoring the past”, how individuals, church groups, and activities with the community are “engaging the present,” and what our vision is to “impact the future.”
You are invited to be in the group photo that will be taken on Sunday, October 16th, as we gather in the sanctuary after the Anniversary service. This group photo will be in the booklet.
To safeguard the privacy of our Centenary family and friends, we will not list the phone numbers and addresses as we have had in our past directories. In its place we will include a memorial photo collage of people who were a part of Centenary's 125 years of ministry, but who are no longer with us. Families may submit photos of their loved ones at https://bit.ly/3IkRrJg for digital images or mail photos to the church at P.O. Box 41-2797, Los Angeles, CA 90041 by September 18, 2022.
Our Family Photo Days are April 24, June 5, and September 11 from 9:00 - 3:00 at Centenary. You may also schedule an appointment with Alan Miyatake at Toyo Miyatake Studio located at 235 W. Fairview Avenue, San Gabriel, CA 91776. Portrait services provided are of family groups, couples, individual poses or a combination.
A copy of the 125th Anniversary Commemorative Booklet is included with your sitting fee. You may make appointments by calling the church at 213-617-9097.
The fine quality portraits will appear in the anniversary booklet and can be ordered for purchase at special anniversary package prices. Take this opportunity to update your family portrait memories.
Let’s be a part of Centenary’s 125th Anniversary Commemorative Booklet!
