Everyone is invited to join us on the weekend of October 15th and 16th as we culminate our year-long celebration of Centenary UMC’s 125th Anniversary!
We will kick-off the weekend festivities on Saturday, October 15th with our 125th Anniversary Celebration Luncheon at the Anaheim Majestic Garden Hotel located just outside the entrance to Disneyland. Join us in the Kensington Ballroom from 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM for a delicious lunch, entertainment, and plenty of fellowship time. Tickets are $75 Adult, $40 Child (3 – 9 years old) or a Reserved Table of 10 for $700. The luncheon includes a copy of Centenary’s 125th Anniversary Devotional Book featuring all entries from our 100th Anniversary Book along with new writings from this year. Tickets can be bought online at www.centenarydtla.org/product-page/125th-anniversary-luncheon until Friday, October 7th or using a mail-in form which the church needs to receive by Friday, September 30th.
If anyone wishes to stay overnight, the Anaheim Majestic is offering our guests a special guestroom rate of $149 plus tax. To make a reservation, call 1-844-227-8535 x3585 and mention “Centenary UMC 125th Anniversary” to receive the group rate. Reservations must be made by September 14th to receive this rate.
Then join us for the pinnacle event on Sunday, October 16th at Centenary UMC as we give thanks and rejoice in 125 years of ministry at our Celebration Worship Service at 10:00. The service will bring together Centenary’s current and former ministers, families, and friends in a time of praise and worship with a special message being given by our own Bishop Grant Hagiya. All are invited to stay after the service to be a part of the all-church photo as we commemorate the end of our celebration year.
