The Fall Fundraiser raised more than $25,000 so that Centenary’s ministries may continue in Little Tokyo and virtually on the Internet. On September 25, 2020, Pastor Sunnie drew the winning Fall Fundraiser raffle tickets at Centenary.
Thanks to all of our Centenary family and friends who donated raffle prizes, became Fall Fundraiser Sponsors, bought raffle tickets, and prayed for Centenary during these trying times. Thanks also to Brian, Carol, Darren, Dennis, Fred, Gail, Jane, Pastor Sunnie, Robert, Ron, Sharon, Sookee, Terry, and Tomoko for all of your help with the Fall Fundraiser.

The Fall Fundraiser was created to offset the loss of Centenary’s two main fundraisers, the Arigato Bazaar and Centenary’s Golf Tournament. Hopefully, we will be back at Centenary in May for the Arigato Bazaar and at the Montebello Country Club in September for Centenary’s Golf Tournament next year.
Until then, I hope to be able to “see” you virtually on Sundays! Go to www.centenarydtla.org for the links to the English and Japanese virtual worship services. Stay after the service and catch up with everyone just like we used to do during the good old days in Centenary’s Fellowship Hall.
We have not been together at Centenary since March. I miss all of you. I will close this Fall Fundraiser Chimes article with hymn #672 ("God Be With You Till We Meet Again") from the United Methodist Hymnal…
God Be With You Till We Meet Again,
