As plans are made for the celebration of Centenary’s 125th Anniversary, we have been revisiting our past through a series of church history articles in the Chimes, but also by remembering the groups that contributed so much vitality to church life. For so many years, the Girls’ Clubs, Boys’ Y Clubs, and MYF were an integral part of Centenary’s programming.
We are planning a Girls’ Clubs, Boys’ Y Clubs, and MYF Reunion at Centenary on August 27, 2022 from 11:30 - 2:30. This will be an opportunity to reconnect with those who were a part of your lives. There are special parts of the reunion that will highlight the 125th Anniversary’s theme of “Honor the past - Engage the present - Impact the future,” but most of the reunion will be for catching up with friends during lunch. This will also be a time for parents to renew old friendships.
The price of the reunion will be $20.00 per person. You may pay for the luncheon online at centenarydtla.org/product-page/reunion-girls-clubs-boys-y-clubs-and-myf or
print the registration form on the right
and mail a check to Centenary United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 41-2797, Los Angeles, CA 90041.
Please help us spread the word about the reunion and share the Facebook link at facebook.com/CentenaryDTLA/photos/a.319306458143057/7365149573558675/, email people you know, or tell people about the reunion the old-fashioned way…face-to-face…
Feel free to call Centenary at (213) 617-9097 if you have any questions.
We hope to see you at the reunion on August 27th,
Brian Kurushima, Jane Shohara Matsumoto, Kendric Kajikawa, Michele Nagata, Randy Onishi, Susan Saito Onishi, Tom Saruwatari, and Vicky Nishinaka Leon
