Bible Study: Esther (Chapters 7 - 9)

August 17, 2020

This week, we read how God stopped Haman's evil plan to kill all Jews. King Xerxes ordered to kill Haman and allowed the Jews to defend themselves from attackers.

When Esther appeared before the king, she did not know that everything would work out well like this. There was no guarantee that she would even stay alive. Regardless of the uncertainties, she took the leap of faith and she did her best in given circumstances to gain favor from the king. Her courageous actions and her faith challenge us, who are reading the book, to act in faith and to keep hope for what God will do in and through our lives.

We will finish the book of Esther and start the book of Ruth next Sunday. Join us and study the words of God next Sunday at 9:30 A.M.
