Our youth at Centenary range from middle school to high school. As they think about the future and possible colleges, they had an opportunity to visit two colleges. A private (USC) and community college (Pasadena City College [PCC]). Alumnae April Nishinaka gave us a tour of USC. We walked the campus visiting different buildings and had an opportunity to do some shopping at the gift store and have lunch on campus. April informed us of different programs and provided important information. The tour of PCC was very informative with practical information about various programs being offered. This was a great time for youth to bond together and think about their future. Hopefully in the near future, we will also visit a Cal State University (CSU) and a University of California (UC) college to give them a taste of different options to choose from when the time comes.
