Claremont School of Theology Restoration Project

Bishop Grant Hagiya of the California-Pacific Conference asked churches to help restore and beautify the Claremont School of Theology. A contingent from Centenary along with members from other churches were ready to work on Saturday, December 4, 2021. Some helped to clear out dry brush that was a fire hazard. Others sanded the railings and repainted them.

During the break, Centenary members were able to hear stories from the dedicated volunteers of Cal-Pac’s Disaster Response/Volunteers in Mission Task Force. This amazing group of volunteers have given hope and help to people dealing with floods, earthquakes, fires, typhoons, and hurricanes. Their latest mission is to provide housing for asylum seekers, refugees, and immigrants.

If you would like to join the task force, contact Doug and Judy Lewis at (909) 731-8248 or DFJKLewis@aol.com. Join Centenary’s email list at https://www.centenarydtla.org/subscribe so that you will know of other mission projects throughout the year.
